Hawthorn Residence Dressing Room by B.E Architecture

"This dressing room in this renovation of a Victorian house in Hawthorn, was designed as a transition space one enters into from the hallway as part of the master bedroom suite. The two staged entry creates additional privacy to the bedroom, rather than being entered directly off a thoroughfare.

The significance of the dressing room’s aesthetics therefore was elevated. The doors to the joinery was faced with grass wallpaper and a full length feature mirror created in front of window.

The custom made mirror echoes the black steel of the houses new entry foyer. The pivoting deep set frame allows different angled views as required."
