Basement and indoor pools, spas and cold plunge’s are becoming more popular on our projects. These require significant co-ordination across numerous consultants and contractors.

In Practice •
From structural and mechanical design, to waterproofing and internal finish detailing, incorporating an indoor permanent bathing facility needs to be deeply considered and rationalised across project participant spectrum. This spa and cold plunge combination, will have curved stone pieces carved from blocks of granite to match the ideal resting position of the human body. It also has a dehumidifier to manage humidity in the wellness area, plus a stone ceiling and automated window openings as back up.
